1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of Pharmasist.ca, courses.pharmasist.ca, related course materials, student accounts, and services. By creating an account, purchasing a course, accessing course content, or using the websites, you agree to these Terms and the incorporated Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
If you do not agree, do not purchase, register for, or access the services.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You must have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. Where the purchaser or learner is under the age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms and authorize the purchase and use of the services.
You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted during registration and checkout is accurate and current.
3. Student Accounts
- Each account is personal to the registered learner.
- You must keep login credentials confidential and use a strong password.
- You must not sell, transfer, share, or permit another person to use your account.
- You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless promptly reported as unauthorized.
We may require identity or transaction verification to protect students, course content, or payment systems.
4. Course Access and Delivery
Courses are delivered digitally and may become available immediately after successful payment or enrolment. Course descriptions identify the general subject matter and included features, but lesson order, presentation, resources, assessments, and platform features may be updated to improve quality or accuracy.
Unless a course page expressly states otherwise, purchase provides a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the course for individual educational use during the stated access period.
5. Prices, Payments, and Taxes
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice before purchase. Applicable taxes, discounts, and total charges will be presented during checkout.
You authorize the selected payment provider to charge the amount shown. Access may be delayed or suspended if payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or identified as potentially fraudulent.
6. Refund Policy
Because digital course access is generally provided immediately after registration or payment, purchases are final and non-refundable except where a refund or remedy is required by applicable law or where Pharmasist.ca confirms a duplicate or incorrect charge.

7. Intellectual Property and Course Licence
Course videos, lessons, text, graphics, screenshots, examples, downloads, assessments, page designs, logos, trademarks, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Pharmasist.ca and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
You may use course materials only for your own learning. You must not copy, reproduce, record, republish, upload, distribute, sell, translate, adapt, scrape, publicly display, teach from, or create competing materials from any course content without prior written permission.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Share accounts or bypass enrolment, payment, access, or security controls.
- Download or record content except through an expressly provided download feature.
- Interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, scrape data, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Harass instructors, students, staff, contractors, or support personnel.
- Submit false information, misuse certificates, or represent course completion dishonestly.
- Use course content for unlawful, deceptive, or commercially competing purposes.
9. Educational Purpose and Professional Limits
Courses provide education and skills development. They do not grant a professional licence, registration, certification by a regulatory college, guaranteed employment, guaranteed admission to another program, or authority to perform regulated acts.
Learners remain responsible for following employer policies, professional standards, provincial or federal laws, and the directions of licensed professionals in the workplace. Course examples must not replace patient-specific clinical judgment or current authoritative references.
10. Certificates
A certificate may be issued when the learner satisfies the stated completion requirements. A certificate confirms completion of the applicable Pharmasist.ca course; it is not a government credential, academic degree, professional licence, or guarantee of competence or employment.
We may refuse, revoke, or correct a certificate obtained through account sharing, misrepresentation, academic dishonesty, technical manipulation, or another violation of these Terms.
11. Platform Availability and Changes
We aim to maintain reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, hosting issues, internet failures, security events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue features or content. Where a material change significantly affects an active paid course, we will use reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative or remedy consistent with applicable law.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe there has been account sharing, non-payment, chargeback abuse, infringement, security misuse, unlawful conduct, harassment, or another material breach.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate termination without refund, subject to applicable law.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The services may rely on payment processors, hosting providers, learning-management tools, email services, analytics, embedded media, and external links. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our control.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the websites, courses, and materials are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every course will satisfy a particular employer, educational institution, regulator, immigration requirement, examination objective, or personal career goal.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, conditions, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pharmasist.ca and its owners, instructors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to a course will not exceed the amount paid for that course, except where applicable law requires a different remedy or amount.
16. Responsibility for Your Conduct
You are responsible for losses, claims, or expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the services, infringement of another person’s rights, misuse of course materials, or material violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply in another jurisdiction.
Subject to applicable consumer law, disputes will be brought before the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
18. General Provisions
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with incorporated policies and the information shown at checkout, form the agreement concerning the services.
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign the agreement as part of a reorganization, transfer, or sale of the business, subject to applicable privacy and consumer law.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect legal, technical, operational, or service changes. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date. Material changes affecting existing paid access may also be communicated through the website, student dashboard, or email.
