Pharmacy Assistant Training in Canada

Welcome to Pharmasist.ca

Pharmasist.ca offers a pharmacy assistant training program designed to prepare students for real-world pharmacy practice in Canada. Unlike many programs that focus only on theory, our course combines online learning, pharmacy software training, and practical pharmacy exposure to help students develop skills that employers value.

This is one of the few pharmacy assistant programs in Canada that provides a complete learning pathway—from foundational knowledge to practical experience in a working pharmacy environment. Students learn the responsibilities of a pharmacy assistant, prescription workflow, pharmacy terminology, customer service skills, pharmacy calculations, inventory management, third-party insurance processing, and daily pharmacy operations.

Optional Hands-On Pharmacy Training

After successfully completing the online theoretical course, students may register for an optional 5-hour hands-on pharmacy training session for $400.

This practical training takes place inside a community pharmacy in North York, Ontario, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Students gain exposure to real pharmacy workflows and observe how prescriptions are received, processed, prepared, and delivered to patients.

Build Skills Employers Are Looking For

Our goal is to help students develop practical skills and confidence before entering the workforce, making the transition into a pharmacy setting smoother and more successful.
